Put me to bed | Yoga Nidra 25min

Yoga Nidra, often called “yogic sleep,” is a guided meditation practice that brings the body into a deep state of relaxation while keeping the mind gently aware. In this session, you'll be invited to lie down comfortably and be guided through a calming journey of body scanning, breath awareness, and visualisation - no movement required.

Yoga Nidra works by shifting the brain from active beta waves into slower alpha and theta wave states, associated with deep relaxation and creativity. This transition mirrors the early stages of sleep and allows the nervous system to reset. By activating the parasympathetic nervous system (the rest-and-digest mode), Yoga Nidra reduces cortisol levels (the stress hormone), lowers heart rate, and improves heart rate variability all of which contribute to better stress resilience and emotional regulation.

Research has shown that regular Yoga Nidra practice can:

  • Improve sleep quality and reduce insomnia

  • Alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression

  • Enhance focus and cognitive function

  • Support recovery from PTSD and trauma-related stress

  • Lower blood pressure and promote overall nervous system balance

It’s a safe and accessible way to unwind before bed, helping you fall asleep more easily and wake up feeling more rested. No experience is needed just a quiet space and the willingness to rest deeply.
